Demolition of an existing 60’s bungalow in Kent, followed by the construction of a state of the art modern house, combining light, art and technology.
The new house was built into the natural slope of the ground using Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), which gives the house great strength and a huge thermal mass.
In the spirit of modern sustainable design, this house incorporates, rainwater harvesting, the generation of electricity using solar panels as well as heat from a wood pellet biomass boiler.
