Project Overview

This 16th century listed barn is typical of its age. Located in East Sussex, it had no foundations the stone walls had to be removed and rebuilt while the ancient oak frame was lovingly restored. The clever bit here was to insulate the building to modern standards without losing any of the charm of the original structure.

Where original features had been damaged or destroyed over time, they were replaced with equally beautiful features procured from architectural salvage yards up and down the country.
