Project Overview

Step Three were commissioned to undertake the major internal refurbishment of this private 5-bedroom house located in Surrey.

Overview of works

The first stage of the project is to strip out and remove the existing floors, ceilings and wiring. Work has begun with the removal of the kitchen and utility fixtures and fittings to make room for our staff to prepare to start the phase of works.

Throughout the course of 2018 our team completely stripped this property. Major works included having the ceilings down, flooring up and removing the existing wall finishes back so that we could then alter the layout of the ground floor by adding new supporting steels and installing new partitioning.

A full electrical re-wire was undertaken and it was at this point we implemented the addition of a full CAT6 data network along with audio cabling for the new AV installation, before new boarding and plaster was applied for final the final finishing.

As the existing flooring had been removed we installed a water-fed underfloor heating system so that new screed could be laid. Once complete a new engineered wood floor was installed in readiness for final finishing, 2nd fix electrical and new kitchen joinery could be assembled and put into place.

Following these stages we could then move onto installing new lighting, fixtures, cabinetry before applying a high-end painting finish. At this time we also completed a full AV installation with a zoned audio system, networked visual matrix and 4K CCTV system, which was all managed and integrated in with the smart controls for the heating, water and safety security systems.

This 5 bedroom luxury refurbishment is now complete and we are extremely pleased with our input on this project and the client is delighted.
